“Save the Planet” Recycling Program
Having been in the moving business since 1920, All Ways World Wide Moving has experienced many changes. For instance, in the early days movers used wooden boxes that could be used over and over again. In the 1950's the industry changed to cardboard boxes which were only used once and then discarded. Because we care, All Ways has implemented a recycling program to reduce the waste of using boxes once.
By following the simple guidelines listed below, our customers can help save our planet and at the same time, save substantially on the cost of purchasing new boxes and having to dispose of them.
Guidelines
- Your move must take place in Washington or Allegheny County and be less than 40 miles from origin to destination. ("Local Move")
- This program is based on the understanding that the customer performs their own packing. Any cartons packed professionally by All Ways Moving will not apply.
- A deposit towards your move is requested before receiving the boxes. Deposit is credited towards the cost of your move.
- Boxes are to be paid for at time of delivery or customer pick up. (See price list below)
- Customer must only use packing tape to seal the boxes. Customer must write only on the tape and not on the box itself.
- Boxes must be ready for pickup within two (2) weeks of the move date, tape should be cut down the seam (not torn) categorized in size, and be in re-usable condition. Within one (1) week of the return of the boxes and in good condition, we will refund 50% of the purchase price, not including delivery/pick up fee. Damaged or missing boxes will be deducted from the refund amount owed.
- You may pick up and return the boxes yourself. Please call in advance for an appointment. If you desire All Ways to deliver and pick up the boxes, there will be a nominal fee of $25.00 for each service performed. These services are subject to our schedule requirements and will be attempted only once under the $25.00 fee arrangement.
